Bora Kara is a seasoned finance professional with over 10 years of expertise in building financial processes across both for-profit and nonprofit sectors. Currently serving as Sr. Finance Manager at Reading Partners since October 2021, Bora has also established a freelance finance practice and co-founded two ventures, Naughty Waffle Co. and Beach House Towels. Bora's background includes significant roles at Gap Inc. in financial operations and analysis, alongside experience as a Business Analyst at Playworks. Bora is an active member of Badassery, a community for rising leaders in tech and media. Bora holds an MBA in Finance and International Business from Santa Clara University and a B.A. in Marketing from Holy Names University.
