Bas Korsmit

Bas Korsmit has extensive work experience in the fields of VFX, animation, and interactive installations. Bas has worked as a Senior Tools Programmer at Ready At Dawn Studios, where they developed tools and GUI components using Python and C++. Bas also worked on the integration of software like Maya and Houdini. Prior to this, Bas was the owner of Naivi, where they worked on VFX and Interactive Installation projects for clients like Adidas, Tommy Hilfiger, and Nike. Bas also has experience as a Senior Technical Animator at Guerrilla, where they worked on projects like Killzone 2 and Killzone 3, handling character animation, scripting, and tools development. Bas has also worked on various freelance projects in VFX and animation, including music videos and documentaries. Bas is a graduate of Avans Hogeschool, where they studied New Media Design.

Bas Korsmit attended Avans University of Applied Sciences from 2003 to 2007, where they obtained their Bachelor's degree in Animation.
