ROLE PURPOSE
This role will focus on driving revenue growth, building strategic relationships, and expanding our presence within Higher Education (HE), Further Education (FE), and Business Schools. The ideal candidate is a seasoned sales professional with a proven track record of success in enterprise-level sales and a deep understanding of the UK and Ireland markets.
REPORTS TO
VP Sales & Managing Director of EMEA & APAC
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead and execute sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets across the UK and Ireland.
Engage with key stakeholders at enterprise-level institutions, including Vice Chancellors, CIOs, and Heads of Student Experience.
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, handling complex deals of $100k+ involving multiple stakeholders.
Develop and nurture strong relationships within Higher Education (HE), Further Education (FE), and Business Schools.
Work collaboratively with internal teams (Client Success, Product, and Marketing) to ensure alignment in customer engagements and product offerings.
Maintain a robust sales pipeline and provide accurate forecasting.
Present and demonstrate Ready Education’s platform with a deep understanding of its technical capabilities and competitive advantages.
Proactively identify new market opportunities and develop targeted sales strategies.
Deliver compelling presentations and proposals to diverse audiences, showcasing how Ready Education’s solutions can solve key institutional challenges.
Stay updated on industry trends and competitive landscapes, providing market insights to influence product development and go-to-market strategies.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE ROLE
7+ years of experience in sales, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
Expertise in the UK Higher Education and Further Education sectors is strongly preferred.
Enterprise-level Account Executive experience, having closed deals of $100k+.
Experience managing complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes within large organizations.
Consistent history of overachievement in sales roles, with demonstrable success in driving revenue growth.
Strong technical acumen, able to work independently without overreliance on a Sales Engineer (SE).
Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging C-level executives and decision-makers.
A proactive, hunter mentality with a focus on results and driving new business opportunities.
Desirable Qualifications:
Experience selling into Business Schools.
Fluent in multiple languages
Experience selling impact-driven solutions
