Emily Peltzer has held several roles in the food and beverage industry. From 2009 to 2012, they worked as a Dietary Manager and Regional Training Manager at Healthcare Services Group, Inc. From 2012 to 2013, they were a Beverage Production Supervisor at POM Wonderful. From 2013 to 2019, they held various roles at Pressed Juicery, including Director of Operations & Food Safety, Retail Logistics & Food Safety Manager, and Quality Assurance Manager/Plant Manager. From 2019 to 2022, they worked as an Investor/Advisor at NuSkool Snacks and as Senior Director of Operations and Director of Fulfillment Operations at The Bouqs Company. Currently, they are the VP of Manufacturing and Operations at Ready, Set, Food!.

Emily Peltzer obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Food Science and Nutrition from California Polytechnic State University-San Luis Obispo between 2005 and 2008. In 2010, they obtained a Serv-Safe certification. In 2013, they obtained a CPFM Food Safety Manager (HACCP) certification from Pressed Juicery. Emily is also a Registered Dietetic Technician (DTR) certified by the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
