Karri-Pekka Laakso

Karri-Pekka Laakso is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in interaction design and software development, currently holding the position of Lead Designer and Senior Developer at Reaktor since June 2005. Laakso has also contributed as a Design Partner for Reaktor Ventures from October 2015 to December 2021, aiding Nordic startups in creating user-centered products and services. Prior roles include teaching part-time at the University of Helsinki's Department of Computer Science on User Interface courses, and serving in various capacities within the university, including Acting Assistant Professor and Research Assistant. Laakso began a career in technology as a System Specialist and Project Manager at Avantcomp. Educationally, Laakso earned a Master of Science in Systems Analysis and Software Systems from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan, completing studies in 1998.
