Dan Barnett

Dan Barnett is a highly experienced real estate investor and entrepreneur currently working with Real Estate Investments since February 2024. Prior to this role, Dan served as a Senior Asset Manager at the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC), managing joint ventures to liquidate failed bank assets from December 2020 to February 2024. Dan's extensive background includes positions such as Financial Controller at FEMA, Information Technology Project Manager at Deloitte, and Asset Manager of Loans and Real Estate at FDIC, where management of portfolios up to $3 billion was key. Additionally, Dan held the role of Chief Operations Officer at Mortgage Assistance Corporation, overseeing portfolio acquisition and loan servicing, and was a Planning, Operations and Engineering Manager at ExxonMobil for nearly two decades, where major projects and strategic planning took place. Dan holds a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University-Kingsville and an MBA from The University of Texas Permian Basin.
