Daniel Cancela

Daniel Cancela has extensive experience in football as both a player and a consultant. Currently serving as a Sports Scout for the Real Federación Española de Fútbol since October 2022, Daniel previously held roles as an External Consultant for DJM & IAM and an External Collaborator for Unedisa Comunicaciones (RADIO MARCA). Daniel has a notable history as a football player, proud of representing Hong Kong at the national level, and recognized as the best left-back in the Hong Kong league multiple times while playing for Kitchee SC. Daniel's leadership skills were demonstrated as Chairman of Hong Kong to Spain LTD, facilitating the introduction of European players and coaches to the Asian market. Daniel's academic background includes degrees in Law and Journalism from Universidade da Coruña and Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, along with a certification as a Sports Director from AFEC Football Academy.
