August Jacobson

August Jacobson has over 15 years of work experience in various roles, primarily in the flooring industry. August currently serves as the Director of Software Development at Real Floors, where they are overseeing the implementation of a custom ERP system. Prior to this, they were the VP of Product & Marketing at Arbor Contract Carpet, where they played a key role in the company's merger with Real Floors. August also has experience as the VP of Product Development at Carpeturn.com, a multifamily housing flooring service provider. In addition to their work in the flooring industry, they have worked as a Consultant at Aplite LLC, providing project management, marketing strategy, and software development expertise. August has also held Consultant and Creative/Marketing positions at iCoach.com and Southwestern Floors, respectively. August started their career as a Marketing/Design Engineer at Raven Systems and gained experience as a Freelance Designer at POURfect Products. August also completed a Design Assistant Internship at Duncan Aviation, where they contributed to various tasks and assignments within the private aviation interior design office.

August Jacobson completed a Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Product Design at Western Michigan University from 2004 to 2008. August also received a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Design from the same university from 2003 to 2008.
