Paul van Wessem

Paul van Wessem is an experienced professional in linguistics and education, currently serving as a Curriculum Development Officer at the Defence Force School of Languages since September 2022. With a strong background in teaching and translation, Paul has been an Indonesian Tutor with the Australia Indonesia Association Victoria since April 2021, and a translator from Indonesian to English for NAATI since October 2020. Paul has also contributed as a linguistic annotator for Lausanne Business Solutions and served as a language tutor with CIT Solutions since March 2017. Previous roles include English Second Language Teacher at Discover English and Research Assistant at Deakin University. Paul's educational credentials include a Masters in Applied Linguistics from the University of Melbourne and extensive training in Indonesian language and education.
