Jakub Riziky

Jakub Riziky has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Jakub started their career as a Service Intern at Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group in 2010. From there, they worked as a Media and Communications Intern at WHL Group in 2012, where they implemented article geo-location filtering for a travel blog. In 2014, they joined Frontiers, one of the largest academic publishers, as a Production Specialist, handling all phases of the article production process.

In 2015, Jakub co-founded PapayaPods, a rental housing management software start-up, where they served as the Head of Product. Jakub led the product from ideation to a fully working product with over 6,900 users. Additionally, they defined and implemented Agile product management practices, increasing focus and doubling the release frequency.

In 2017, Jakub took on two parallel roles. Jakub co-founded IMAGO, a company that worked with corporate innovation teams to develop web applications and managed projects as a product owner and designer. At the same time, they became a Founding Partner at Network68, where they ran a start-up academy, coached founders on various topics, delivered workshops, and connected start-ups with the investor community. Jakub set up the startup academy program structure and developed materials and online courses.
