Howard Kao

Howard Kao currently serves as Chief Counsel at Realfinity since August 2022, overseeing all legal affairs for the technology-based mortgage lending digital services provider. Prior to this role, Howard held positions as Senior Counsel at LendUS, where responsibilities included advising on compliance and legal matters related to mortgage lending, and as Attorney at Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP, providing legal counsel on corporate and compliance issues. Earlier experience includes serving as Attorney at Buckley Sandler LLP, advising financial services clients on regulatory matters, and as Counsel at Citysearch.com, handling contract negotiations and customer disputes. Howard holds a JD from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, and a Bachelor's of Science in Managerial Economics from the University of California, Davis.
