K N R Surya Vara Prasad

K N R Surya Vara Prasad has a diverse work experience, beginning in 2010. In 2010, they were a Chief Coordinator for Wissenaire 2011, the maiden techno-management festival of IIT Bhubaneswar. K N R Surya Vara built a 50-member team to handle sponsorship, event management, digital design, and publicity aspects for the 3-day festival. That same year, they were also a Summer Research Intern at the Indian Institute of Science, supervised by Prof. A. Chockalingam. In 2011, they were a Summer Research Intern at the University of Massachusetts, supervised by Prof. James J. Bisagni. In 2012, they were a Researcher at TCS Innovation Labs and a Teaching Assistant at the Indian Institute of Technology, Bhubaneswar. From 2016 to 2022, they were a Ph.D. Candidate at The University of British Columbia and a Research Scientist at Reality Defender (YC W22).

K N R Surya Vara Prasad obtained an Indian Certificate for Secondary Education (I.C.S.E) from Sri Sai Public School between 1996 and 2006. K N R Surya Vara then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Technology in Electrical Engineering from IIT Bhubaneswar between 2008 and 2012. During their time there, they also obtained a General Secretary(Science & Technology) certification from the Students' Gymkhana, IIT Bhubaneswar in July of 2010. Finally, they completed a Masters in Applied Sciences (MASc) in Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of British Columbia between 2014 and 2016. Additionally, they obtained a Mechanical Design certification from the American School for Mechanical Engineers (ASME).
