Carl Jackson

Carl Jackson has over 18 years of work experience in various roles. In 2018, they were the CTO/Founder of RealVR. From 2010 to 2011, they were the Principal Consultant/Founder of Johnny Labs and the Senior Software Engineer at Handle. During this time, they led the iOS development team, set architectural direction, and identified scalability and latency issues. Carl was also the CTO/Founder of PEER from 2011 to 2009, where they founded the company, hired key engineers, and launched two apps in the App Store. From 2009 to 2007, they worked at Pivotal Labs as an Agile/iOS/webOS/TDD Consultant. Carl was also a Senior Web Developer at Adoptic from 2008 to 2006, and a Solution Architect at Splunk from 2006 to 2005. Finally, they were a Senior Software Engineer and Senior Consulting Engineer at Rovi from 2005 to 2002, and a Senior Software Engineer at SenSage from 2002 to 2007.

Carl Jackson received a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematical Sciences and Computer Science from the University of Washington.
