Ofer Baharav

Ofer Baharav has a long history of working in the tech industry. In 1999, they began their career as Vice President of Business Development for Alfy, Inc. In 2004, they became a Manager at Dow Jones & Company. In 2006, they were a Partner at Brimacomb & Associates. In 2008, they were an EIR at Plug and Play Tech Center. In 2009, they were an EIR/CEO at ySage. In 2010, they were a Director at Johnny Labs. In 2011, they founded and became Head of Product at Peer, where they created and launched a video communications application for professionals within 9 months. In 2014, they became CEO and Head of Product at Callix, where they brought in and turned around an enterprise SaaS call center voice and analytics platform. In 2016, they were a Product Mentor at Google Launchpad Accelerator. Finally, in 2017, they became CEO and Head of Product at Villa, where they built a state of the art Metaverse creation platform in virtual reality and grew the base to hundreds of thousands of active users.

Ofer Baharav completed a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Information Technology from UOP in 2006. Ofer then went on to earn a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) in Global Business & Entrepreneurship from Duke University - The Fuqua School of Business in 2007. In 2017, they obtained certifications in Introduction to Programming Using Python and Intermediate Python from DataCamp. In 2018, they obtained certifications in Deep Learning Specialization, Sequence Models, Convolutional Neural Networks, Improving Deep Neural Networks: Hyperparameter tuning, Regularization and Optimization, Neural Networks and Deep Learning, and Structuring Machine Learning Projects from Coursera. In 2019-2020, they completed an Upskilling in advanced Python ML/AI for Data Science; Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence (ML/AI).
