Edfil Basan

Edfil Basan is currently a Product Design at Vermeer. Prior to this, they were a UI Designer at Google from June 2018 to September 2018, where they worked alongside the HCI+ML research team. They also have experience as a Junior Communication Strategist at Goodby Silverstein & Partners from June 2015 to November 2017, where they worked on accounts such as Adobe Systems (Creative Cloud, Document Cloud) and New Business. Additionally, Edfil has experience in research, having served as a Research Apprentice at Infant Studies Center - University of California, Berkeley from August 2014 to December 2015 and Golden Bear Sleep & Mood Research Center - UC Berkeley from August 2014 to October 2015. Lastly, they have experience in photography and writing, having served as Photo Lead & Contributing Writer at The B-Side from June 2014 to June 2016.

Edfil Basan received a Bachelor's Degree in Cognitive Science from the University of California, Berkeley. Edfil is certified by the Collaborative Institutional Training Initiative (CITI) in Social and Behavioral Research Investigation and Biomedical Research Investigation.
