Heng Woon Ong

Heng Woon Ong has had a long and varied career in software engineering and tech consulting. Heng Woon began in 2006 as the Sole Proprietor and Owner of Hyperion Technologies. In 2007, they worked as a Software Engineer for Slashes and Dots, developing and working on the MyBlog Joomla blogging module. In 2006, they were a Software Consultant for Grouply, developing and working on various features of Grouply.com. In 2010, they were acquired by Oodle, where they worked on the API layer and implemented social circles. In 2013, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer for QVC, where they were the Mobile Web Team Leader. In the same year, they worked as a Senior Software Engineer for GoDaddy. In 2017, they were the Chief Technology Officer and Technical Consultant for Re:amaze by GoDaddy. Finally, in 2021, they became the Director of Engineering for GoDaddy.

Heng Woon Ong attended De Anza College from 2002 to 2004, where they obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science. Heng Woon then transferred to the University of California, Berkeley, where they completed their Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science in 2006.
