Valarie Pearce, MEd

Valarie Pearce, MEd has a diverse work experience in the field of education and community engagement. Valarie currently works as an Education & DEI Strategies Consultant at REAP, Inc. since January 2021. Prior to this, they served as an Adjunct Professor at Lewis & Clark College starting in June 2020. Valarie also worked as a WITS Teacher at Literary Arts from December 2020 to January 2023. In addition, they held the position of Director Of Content Development at Friendzy Co. from February 2021 to February 2022. Previous roles include Early Literacy & Literacy Program Strategist at Self Enhancement, Inc. from November 2019 to January 2021, Curriculum Content Developer at Friendzy Co. from November 2019 to November 2020, and Teacher at De La Salle North Catholic High School from August 2019 to August 2020. Valarie's work experience also includes serving as a Community Educator & Engagement Specialist at the Black Parent Initiative (BPI) from July 2015 to January 2019.

Valarie Pearce, MEd, obtained their Master of Education (MEd) degree from Concordia University-Portland, which they attended from 2017 to 2019. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Communications and Journalism at George Fox University from 1990 to 1994.
