Michelle Aston has extensive experience in IT service operations and management. Michelle is currently the Head of IT Service Operations at ReAssure, a position they have held since April 2023. Prior to this role, Michelle served as the Senior Service Operations Manager at ReAssure part of Phoenix Group from November 2014. In this role, they were responsible for leading a team of IT Service Delivery Managers and Analysts, overseeing various aspects of IT service delivery. Michelle also held the position of IT Service Delivery Manager at ReAssure from January 2013 to November 2014. Before joining ReAssure, they were the Application Support Manager at TNT ICS in 2012. Michelle's earlier experience includes working as an Application Manager and Shared Services Manager at Citi Bank/Egg from May 2010 to October 2012, where they managed a technical department and ensured compliance and support for critical banking services and applications.
Michelle Aston attended St Peters Collegiate School in Wolverhampton from 1982 to 1987. Michelle then enrolled at Wulfrun College in Wolverhampton from 1987 to 1988, where they pursued a Chartered Institute of Banking program. Michelle Aston also holds several certifications, including an ITIL V4 Foundation Certificate obtained in October 2022 from AXELOS Global Best Practice. Michelle obtained an Agile Project Management Foundation certification in December 2020 from APMG International. In May 2016, they earned a BCS Specialist certificate in Business Relationship Management from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT. Michelle Aston also achieved various ITIL certifications, including ITIL Intermediate Certificates in Continual Service Improvements (September 2014), Service Transition (May 2014), Service Offerings and Agreements (July 2013), and Operational Support and Analysis (February 2012). Michelle obtained a BCS Specialist Certification in Service Desk and Incident Management in July 2011, and a Leading and Managing People certification from the University of Derby in July 2011. Michelle Aston's educational journey also includes achieving the ITIL V3 Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT in August 2010.
