Tia Carmon

Tia Carmon has over 14 years of experience in project management and analytics. Tia began their career in 2005 as a Microbiologist at Athenix Corp, where they worked according to laboratory protocols performing bioassays and analyzing data. In 2007, they joined Quintiles as an Associate Client Engagement Manager, Health Engagement & Communications, where they planned, managed and executed direct-to-patient observational research programs per contract, from award through closeout. Tia also served as an Associate Project Manager and a MediGuard.org Research Coordinator at Quintiles. In 2014, they joined PPD as a Senior Project Manager, where they managed global project operations for assigned projects, led multiple functional areas and vendors, identified potential risks, evaluated any issues, interpreted data, developed contingency plans, and implemented solutions to ensure successful completion of their projects. Tia also served as a Project Manager, Peri and Post Approval Research Operations at PPD. In 2019, they joined Rebar Interactive as a Senior Project and Analytics Manager.

Tia Carmon received their B.S. in Microbiology from North Carolina State University. Tia then went on to pursue a Master of Professional Science in Biomedical and Health Informatics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, which they completed in 2020. Tia also holds certifications from IHI and SAS, including a Basic Certificate in Quality & Safety from IHI obtained in October 2019, and SAS Programming 1: Essentials and SAS Programming 2: Data Manipulation Techniques from SAS obtained in August 2019.
