Salil Sapre

Salil Sapre is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in product design and management. Currently serving as General Manager at Rebel Foods since October 2020, Salil leads the strategic design and development of cloud kitchens and offline restaurant environments, focusing on innovative solutions to reduce both capital and operational expenditures. Previously, Salil held roles as Deputy General Manager, Lead Designer, and Senior Designer at Rebel, contributing to significant improvements in kitchen operations through automation and design optimization. Additionally, Salil co-founded Zero Audio and has a background in product development from Futuring, where responsibilities encompassed research, prototyping, and user experience for various consumer appliances. Educational qualifications include an Executive Program in Product Management from INSEAD, a Master’s degree in Industrial and Product Design from the Indian Institute of Science, and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mumbai.
