Matthew Hudson

Matthew Hudson, ACA, is an experienced Director at Rebel since April 2021, focusing on client advisory for EMV fare collection systems in rail services and conducting strategic reviews of commercial contracts. Prior experience includes serving as Head of Strategy, Technology & Data at Transport for London from April 2003 to April 2021, where responsibilities encompassed managing strategic transformation portfolios, identifying revenue generation opportunities, and overseeing commercial exploitation of back office systems. Previously, Hudson held roles such as Head of Business Development and Principal in Corporate Finance at Transport for London, and Project Finance Manager at London Underground. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Contemporary History and Politics from Birkbeck, University of London, a Master's degree in Chartered Accountancy from ICAEW, and a BA Hons in Philosophy from the University of Leeds.
