Christine Michels

Christine Michels has extensive work experience in various leadership and managerial roles. Christine is currently the Director of Production, Engineering, and Technical Services at Rebiotix Inc (a Ferring Company). Prior to this, they served as the Associate Director and Senior Manager of Engineering at the same company.

Before joining Rebiotix Inc, Christine worked at WuXi AppTec, where they held multiple roles, including Associate Director of Site Services, Validation Manager, Technical Manager - In Vitro Testing Services, Interim Associate Director - In Vitro Testing Services, Manager - In Vitro Testing Services, New Service Development Specialist, Lab Supervisor/Scientist-Cell Culture, and Research Assistant-Virology Laboratory. In these roles, they led validation and qualification activities, managed resources, supported business growth, and oversaw various departments and operations.

Christine also has experience working at IKEA as a Sales Manager and at Restoration Hardware as a Receiving/Sales Manager.

Throughout their career, Christine has demonstrated strong leadership skills, expertise in engineering, technical services, validation, and in vitro testing. Christine has been responsible for strategic planning, implementing capital projects, ensuring compliance with regulations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Christine Michels completed their Master of Science (M.S.) in Biotechnology at The Johns Hopkins University from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, they obtained their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Biology from St. Catherine University, which they attended from 2002 to 2005. In addition to their formal education, they also obtained a certification in "Leading with Emotional Intelligence" from LinkedIn in June 2021.
