Richard Kramer

Richard Kramer has over 9 years of work experience in various scientific roles. Richard is currently employed as a Senior Fermentation Scientist at Rebiotix Inc (a Ferring Company) since January 2021. Prior to that, they worked at Bio-Cat Microbials for 6 years as a Research Scientist. In this role, they successfully reduced contaminated run rates from 27% to below 5% within 6 months and implemented a media optimization program. Richard also collaborated with the plant manager to overcome infrastructure limitations. Additionally, Richard served as a Graduate Assistant at St. Cloud State University from August 2012 to May 2014. Richard'sthesis research focused on utilizing E. coli BL21 AI cells to express important proteins for the lytic mechanism of the S. aureus P68 phage.

Richard Kramer obtained a Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from the University of St. Thomas - Opus College of Business in 2018. Prior to that, from 2012 to 2014, they pursued a Master's degree in Cell/Cellular and Molecular Biology at St. Cloud State University. Richard's educational journey began with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Biology from Bemidji State University, which they completed between 2000 and 2006.
