Benjamin Willis

Benjamin Willis has extensive work experience in the engineering and materials science field. Benjamin is currently the Director of Product Development at Re:Build Manufacturing, a position they have held since September 2022. Prior to this, from September 2021 to September 2022, they worked as the Manager of Engineering - Outdoor Products Analytical Engineering - Materials Group at Techtronic Industries - TTI. Benjamin also held the role of Senior Materials Engineer - Outdoor Products Innovation at the same company from January 2021 to September 2021. From April 2021 to September 2022, Benjamin worked as a Ballistics Consultant at Atomic-6. Before that, they worked at Cornerstone Building Brands as a Materials Science Research & Development Engineer from August 2018 to January 2021. Benjamin's earlier experience includes roles at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, including Engineer I - MPAD Composites Lab from November 2013 to August 2018, Graduate Student from August 2011 to August 2018, and Research Assistant from February 2010 to August 2011.

Benjamin Willis has a strong educational background in the field of Materials Engineering. Benjamin began their academic journey in 2006, attending the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where they obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Engineering in 2011. Building upon this foundation, they pursued further studies at the same institution, earning their Masters of Science in Materials Engineering between 2011 and 2017. Benjamin's pursuit of knowledge did not end there, as they embarked on a Ph.D. program in Materials Engineering at the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2017, which is expected to be completed in 2023.
