Strategic Initiatives at Re:Build Manufacturing

Peter Jacobson has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Peter currently works as the Manager Strategic Initiatives at Re:Build Manufacturing since April 2023. Prior to this, Peter was a Leaders for Global Operations (LGO) Fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, starting in May 2021. Peter then went on to work as a Private Equity Operations Associate - LGO Fellow at American Industrial Partners from June 2022 to January 2023.

Before joining LGO, Peter held roles at Panasonic North America where they were the Manager of Strategy & New Product Development from December 2019 to May 2021. In this role, they led the development of new product ideas and created business models for energy and transportation products. Peter also worked as a Technical Product Manager, focusing on energy and transportation projects from December 2016 to December 2019.

Prior to Panasonic, Peter worked at exp Global, Inc. as an Energy Engineer & Project Manager, from August 2014 to December 2016. In this role, they designed and tested energy and water systems in the built environment, with a focus on energy modeling.

Peter's work experience also includes a role as a Research Assistant at the University of Michigan in 2013, where they conducted research on alternative catalysts for diesel engines.

Peter Jacobson has a strong educational background in engineering and business. Peter obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Chemical Engineering from Yale University, where they studied from 2010 to 2014. Following their undergraduate studies, Peter is currently pursuing further education at MIT. Peter is expected to complete a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the MIT Sloan School of Management and a Master of Science (MS) degree in Engineering from the MIT School of Engineering.

In addition to their academic degrees, Peter has also earned several certifications. These include being an Engineer In Training certified by the NCEES, a LEED AP BD&C certification from the Green Building Certification Institute (GBCI), and a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification from the Project Management Institute. The specific dates of when they obtained these certifications are not provided.
