Stuart MacEy

Stuart Macey has extensive experience in the automotive industry, with a focus on vehicle packaging and engineering. Stuart most recently worked as a Principal Concept Studio Engineer at Re:Build Manufacturing, starting in May 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Waymo from August 2020 to May 2023, where they specialized in Advanced Vehicle Packaging and ADS integration. Before that, they worked at Curb Industries Inc as an Advanced Vehicle Packaging Specialist from April 2020 to August 2020. From January 2002 to August 2020, Stuart worked as an Instructor at ArtCenter College of Design. Stuart also held the position of Director of Package Innovation at Divergent 3D from November 2016 to April 2020. Stuart's earlier experience includes roles at Hyundai Kia America Technical Center, Inc. as a Senior Studio Engineer from November 2010 to November 2016, and at Curb Industries Inc. as an Automotive Design Consultant from May 2009 to October 2010. Additionally, they served as a Vehicle Engineering Manager at KEN OKAYAMA DESIGN & ENGINEERING from May 2008 to May 2009. Stuart started their career at Daimler Chrysler in September 1991 and held the position of Senior Studio Engineer for nearly a decade. Stuart also worked as a Studio Engineer at INTERNATIONAL AUTOMOTIVE DESIGN LIMITED from August 1983 to November 1990, supporting design studio activities and collaborating with body engineering teams.

Stuart Macey attended City of Portsmouth College from 1974 to 1978, where they studied Marine Structures.
