Stephen Malone

Stephen Malone's work experience begins in 2012 when they worked as a Shift Lead at Starbucks. In the same year, they also worked as a Studio Technician at Studio One Media, Inc.

In 2014, Malone began their career at Apple as a Genius, where they troubleshooted and repaired Apple devices and educated customers on their use. Stephen also took on managerial responsibilities and developed their peers. Stephen later became an Expert at Apple, guiding the customer experience and overseeing the success of the sales team. Stephen also provided technical support and consulting to customers.

From 2008 to 2018, Malone worked as a Guitarist and Songwriter in a touring band called ForeverandNever. During this time, they handled managerial responsibilities and took care of promotional materials, social media, finances, and distribution.

From 2020 to 2022, Malone worked at Built Technologies as an Information Technology Infrastructure Specialist, where they owned and implemented various IT services such as desktop support, service desk, and systems architecture/infrastructure. Stephen later became the Manager of IT Infrastructure & Service Desk, where they hired and trained new team members and mentored them to expand their skills.

Currently, Malone works at Rebuilt as a Technology Operations Manager. Here, they have implemented and configured Okta for identity and single sign-on and managed AWS and Azure environments. Stephen has also designed and rolled out a Software Defined Perimeter and Zero Trust Network to secure access to internal resources.

Stephen Malone earned a Bachelor's degree in Music Teacher Education from Delta State University, where they studied from 2005 to 2007. In addition to their degree, they have also obtained several certifications. In April 2017, they became an Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT) and in January 2017, they earned the Apple Certified Portable Technician (ACPT) certification. Recently, in September 2021, they obtained the JumpCloud Core Certification from JumpCloud.
