Andy Schaafs

Andy Schaafs is currently a Senior Director of Development at Robotics Education & Competition Foundation since July 2019. Prior to this role, Andy held positions such as Director of Team Engagement at the same company. Before joining the foundation, Andy worked at Clear Creek Independent School District from August 2008 to July 2019, where Andy served as Robotics and Engineering Program Manager and also as a Teacher/Coach. Andy's earlier career includes roles at bp from January 2001 to July 2008, where Andy worked as an Asset Manager, Commercial Analyst, and Process Engineer. Andy earned a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M University in 2000.
