Shawn Bowen

Shawn Bowen is an experienced engineering manager with a strong background in chemical engineering and business management. Currently serving as the Silane Production Engineering Manager at REC Silicon since July 2004, Shawn Bowen leads initiatives focused on business culture transformation through Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies while also participating in due diligence for new plant acquisitions. Prior experience includes roles at The Amalgamated Sugar Co. as a Technical Assistant to the Plant Manager, where Shawn Bowen was involved in operations management and process optimization, and at Eastman Chemical Company as an Advanced Process Improvement Engineer, focusing on reducing energy consumption and environmental emissions. Shawn Bowen holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Brigham Young University and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
