Marcel Hillebrandt

Marcel Hillebrandt has extensive experience in the aircraft seating industry, currently serving as Team Leader for Seat Development B/C at RECARO Aircraft Seating since November 2014, overseeing highly customized business class seat projects. Previously, Marcel held various roles at RECARO, including Module Engineer and Module Design Engineer, focused on business and economy class seat development. Academic credentials include a Diplom-Ingenieur degree in Maschinenbau from Technische Universität Dresden, complemented by research on simulation methods for composite jet engine structures during a diploma thesis. Additional early experience includes working as a student assistant on the Gossamer Solar Sail Project at DLR.
