Jennifer Shaw

Jennifer Shaw has an extensive work experience, starting with their current position as Director of Operations at Recidiviz, where they have been working since December 2020. Prior to that, they held the role of Founding Partner and Chief Operations Officer at The Movement Cooperative from December 2017 to January 2020.

Before their role at The Movement Cooperative, Jennifer worked as SVP - Chief of Staff and Director of Special Projects at the New York City Economic Development Corporation from May 2016 to December 2016. Jennifer also served as COO at ConBody, a fitness company, from July 2014 to June 2016.

Jennifer's previous experience includes being the Director of Community at Civic Hall from February 2015 to April 2016, and a Conductor for StartupBus NYC from February 2015 to June 2015.

Jennifer also founded Bella Minds in October 2013, where they served as the CEO until February 2015. Additionally, Jennifer founded NYTechWomen in October 2011, where they were involved in organizational vision, daily operations, growth strategy, and advocacy for women in the tech industry until February 2015.

Jennifer Shaw has also worked as a Senior Data Analyst at comScore, Inc. from September 2012 to November 2013, and in Market Analysis at The NPD Group from July 2007 to September 2012.

Jennifer Shaw completed their high school education at Alliance High School from 1993 to 1997. Jennifer then pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in Accounting & Marketing at Chadron State College from 1997 to 2000. During the same period, they also attended Western Nebraska Community College where they obtained an Associate of Arts degree in Accounting and Business/Management. In 2010, Jennifer attended NetCom Information Technology for a short period to earn a certification in MCT/CTT+, specializing in Microsoft Certified Trainer and Certified Technical Trainer.
