Jing Zhu

Jing Zhu, Ph.D. has a strong background and expertise in nucleic acid and viral vector technology. They currently hold the position of VP, Nucleic Acid & Viral Vector Technology at Recipharm since March 2023. Before that, they served as VP, Nucleic Acid Technology at Recipharm from August 2022 to March 2023. Prior to Recipharm, Jing Zhu worked at RVAC Medicines as the Director of mRNA Process and Analytical Development from August 2021 to August 2022. They also held positions at Luye Pharma USA Ltd., where they worked as an Associate Director and Principal Scientist in mRNA Process Development from August 2020 to August 2021. Lastly, Jing Zhu gained valuable experience at Thermo Fisher Scientific, where they held various roles in R&D and scientific research in the field of purification and analytics.

Jing Zhu, Ph.D. received a B.S. degree in Chemistry from Donghua University in 2007. Following that, they pursued a Ph.D. at the University of California, Davis from 2007 to 2012, specializing in the field of Nanofibrous membrane for protein purification. In 2017, Jing Zhu obtained a certification as a Certified Six Sigma Black Belt from SixSigma.us.
