Claire Maraval

Claire joined Reclaim Finance in February 2022 as Transition Utility Campaigner. Her goal is to get financial institutions to move beyond policies to stop supporting coal-fired power generation and adopt measures to support the transition to a renewable energy power system. Claire is working closely with the Europe Beyond Coal campaign, which advocates for a shift away from coal to renewables, without recourse to gas, biomass or other false solutions. Claire holds a master’s degree in management from Grenoble EM and a master’s degree in finance from Umeå University. She previously worked for 2 years at the French Financial Markets Authority on investor protection and sustainable finance.
