Louis-Maxence Delaporte

Louis-Maxence has been a Fossil Free Finance campaigner at Reclaim Finance since November 2021, with the goal of convincing financial institutions to accelerate their exit from coal, oil and gas. A graduate from Audencia Business School with a masters degree in corporate finance, Louis-Maxence worked for three years in invesment banking, in France and Texas, on the financing of the oil and gas sector. Later on, he worked in consulting, assisting banks on compliance and regulatory issues, including money laundering and insider trading. These experiences have given Louis-Maxence a strong understanding of the financial sector, as well as the commodity market, and the impact their exploitation has on the environment, biodiversity and local populations.
