Jim Young

With over 40 years’ experience as a Chartered Civil Engineer in the construction industry, the Technical Industry Consultant Jim is committed to ensuring their product meets British Standards and is best positioned to meet the needs of the global construction market.

As well as working in construction design and management for national companies across the UK, latterly as Construction Director, Jim holds a number of positions within professional organisations including Fellow Membership of the Institute of Civil Engineers and is a local Council Member of the Aberdeen Association of Civil Engineers.

Jim brings both practical and technical expertise to Recycl8. He has worked on several significant infrastructure and building projects in the UK including the development of high quantity cement replacement trials and application. Jim’s extensive experience in construction and expert knowledge in the field is crucial to maintaining the momentum of their journey to market by assessing their product’s field performance in relation to customer requirements and applications.
