Serguei Tchertok

Director, Regulatory Affairs at Recochem

Serguei Tchertok has extensive work experience in regulatory affairs and sustainability. Serguei currently holds the position of Director, Regulatory Affairs at Recochem Inc. since May 2023. Prior to this, they worked at Quadra Chemicals as a Regulatory Affairs Manager from October 2020 to May 2023, and as a Regulatory Affairs Team Leader from July 2018 to October 2020. Serguei also served as a Senior Regulatory Affairs Specialist at Quadra Chemicals from August 2017 to June 2018.

Before joining Quadra Chemicals, Tchertok worked as a Lecturer at the Lazaridis School of Business & Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University from May 2019 to August 2022. Serguei also worked at Grand & Toy as a Manager, Sustainability from March 2014 to May 2017.

Tchertok's early career includes roles at Quadra Chemicals as a Sustainability Program Leader/Regulatory Specialist from October 2011 to March 2014, and as a Regulatory Affairs Coordinator from June 2006 to October 2011. Serguei started their career as a Regulatory Compliance Coordinator at Riviera Concepts from February 2005 to May 2006.

Serguei Tchertok has a diverse education history. Serguei obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from York University, graduating in 2003. Following this, they pursued a Graduate Certificate in Pharmaceutical Regulatory Affairs and Quality Operations from Seneca College, which they completed in 2004.

In 2011, Serguei attended the Lazaridis School of Business & Economics at Wilfrid Laurier University, where they earned an MBA with a specialization in Strategic Management. This program lasted from 2008 to 2011.

Serguei later pursued a Graduate Diploma in Social Responsibility & Sustainability from the University of Toronto - University of St. Michael's College. This program took place from 2015 to 2016.

In addition to their formal education, Serguei obtained a certification as an Environmental Professional (EP, Policy and Legislation) from ECO Canada in February 2012.
