Jacob Rueben

Jacob Rueben has work experience in the fields of process development, material failure analysis, chemical engineering, and lab research. Jacob has worked with companies such as ReCode Therapeutics, Intel Corporation, and Allegheny Technologies Incorporated, as well as Oregon State University's Coastal Imaging Lab. Rueben has experience conducting lab testing, scaling processes to production levels, utilizing chemical analysis equipment, and designing, constructing, and testing soft pneumatic actuators. Jacob has also written reports, created MATLAB routines, and presented research to executives and managers. Rueben's work experience spans from 2011 to present day.

Jacob Rueben earned their Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from Oregon State University between the years 2012 to 2017. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Materials Science at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, starting in 2017 and expected to complete in 2023.
