Jake Daehong Kim

Jake Daehong Kim is a skilled scientist with extensive experience in process development, particularly in upstream operations. Currently serving as Scientist II/Project Leader at KBI Biopharma since July 2017, Jake has progressed through various roles in the company, demonstrating expertise in technical process improvements and project leadership. Prior experience includes a position as a Manufacturing Scientist at Biogen, where significant advancements in protein production and troubleshooting of manufacturing processes were achieved. Jake holds a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering from North Carolina State University, complemented by a Bachelor's degree in the same field from the same institution. Additionally, Jake has experience as a research assistant focusing on the properties of liquid metal, and earlier roles included teaching mathematics and working as a head waiter.
