Jeremy Monroe

Jeremy Monroe has a diverse work experience. Jeremy began their career in 2007 as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps. In 2012, they became a Crew Foreman at Adirondack Landscaping, where they were responsible for ensuring the quality of projects and maintaining records of materials and man-hours. In 2014, Jeremy was a Laboratory Technician at SUNY Adirondack, where they were responsible for the preparation and quality control of experimental reagents. Later that year, they became a Managing Partner at Caldwell Country Store, where they were responsible for researching, implementation and marketing of new products. In 2017, Jeremy was an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Dr. Daniel P. Raleigh's lab, where they compiled and curated a protein database. Finally, in 2018, Jeremy became a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Michigan, where they investigated how N1-methylpseudouridine and pseudouridine common mRNA modifications in mRNA therapeutics impacts protein production. Currently, Jeremy is a Scientist at ReCode Therapeutics.

Jeremy Monroe attended SUNY Adirondack from 2012 to 2015, where they studied Chemistry. Jeremy then went on to Stony Brook University, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from 2015 to 2017. Currently, they are pursuing a Doctorate of Philosophy in Chemistry at the University of Michigan, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
