Teri Keffer

Teri Keffer has over 25 years of work experience in the field of Human Resources. Teri began their career in 1995 as a Neuroscience Territory Specialist at Abbott, where they were part of the expansion sales force for Neurology and launched Depakote for Bipolar and Migraine in the Los Angeles territory. In 1997, they became a Genetic Testing Specialist at Medical Science Systems. From 1998 to 2001, they worked at Cephalon as a Territory Specialist Neuroscience, where they were responsible for the prelaunch and post launch of Provigil for Narcolepsy and comarketing agreement with Medtronic for baclofen pump. From 2001 to 2006, they worked at BiogenIdec as an Area Business Manager, where they were responsible for sales for Avonex in Los Angeles and San Francisco territory and was a President's Club winner. In 2006, they became an Executive Recruiter at GrantProSearch. From 2007 to 2018, they worked at Genentech in various roles, including Senior Principal Talent Partner, US Medical Affairs, Global Product Strategy & Government Affairs, Principal Staffing Consultant, Commercial, Principal Staffing Consultant, Human Resources and Site Services, Principal Staffing and Talent Acquisition Consultant, Talent Sourcing and Project Manager, Talent Acquisition, Senior Manager Talent Acquisition, Commercial/Corporate/GPS Groups, and Talent Acquisition, Commercial. In 2018, they became a Senior Principal Contract Recruiter at Principia Biopharma. From 2019 to 2022, they worked at Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical Inc. as Head of Global Talent and Operations and Associate Director, Talent Acquisition Medical Affairs & Development. Currently, they are the Vice President People at ReCode Therapeutics and Principal Owner at Success in Hiring.

Teri Keffer earned their Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Arizona between 1988 and 1992. Teri then went on to receive their Master of Human Resources and Organizational Development from the University of San Francisco in 2003.
