Senior Programme Officer - Enhancing Livelihoods And Markets at RECOFTC

Martin Greijmans is a seasoned professional in the field of forestry and sustainable livelihoods, currently serving as a Senior Programme Officer at RECOFTC – The Center for People and Forests since October 2012. In this role, Martin leads the Enhancing Livelihoods and Markets Thematic Area, overseeing capacity development, research, policy advocacy, and the piloting of best practices across seven Asia-Pacific countries. Prior to this position, Martin held significant roles at SNV as a Senior Advisor and Sector Leader for Forest Products, and as Chief Technical Advisor at CIAT. Martin also contributed expertise as a Natural Resources Consultant for the DANIDA Lao Tree Seed Project and as an Ecological Monitoring Officer for DANCED. An educational background in Tropical Forestry was attained through degrees from Wageningen University & Research and Larenstein International Agricultural College.
