Souphaline Soulyavong

Souphaline Soulyavong is a seasoned environmental professional with a Master's Degree in Biotechnology from Institut Teknologi Bandung and a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science from the National University of Laos. Currently serving as a Training Officer at RECOFTC since April 2020, Souphaline specializes in capacity building to promote sustainable community forestry through effective training and facilitation. Prior experience includes roles as an Environmental Officer and Junior Environmental Officer at Nam Theun 2 Power Company, focusing on solid waste and wastewater treatment monitoring and raising environmental awareness among various stakeholders. Souphaline began the career as a laboratory assistant intern at the same company.
