Utsav Maden

Utsav Maden is a seasoned professional in communications and engagement, currently serving as a Communication and Engagement Officer at RECOFTC since July 2023. Previous roles include Communications Officer and Knowledge Management and Communication Officer at ICIMOD from July 2018 to June 2023, where Utsav contributed to reducing climate and environmental risks. The extensive career at ICIMOD also featured responsibilities as a Knowledge Management and Communication Associate, where Utsav supported various sustainability projects and initiatives. Utsav's early experience includes roles such as a web content review intern for Environmental Camps for Conservation Awareness and an intern at UNEP RRC.AP in Bangkok, focusing on environmental data research. Utsav began the journey in education as a teacher at Saipal Academy and has a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from Kathmandu University.
