Richard Burrows

Richard Burrows has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. RICHARD has most recently worked at Recognise Bank as the Head of Prudential Risk and previously served as the Interim Treasurer. Prior to that, they were the Treasurer at BACB plc. Richard has also held positions such as Non-Executive Director at UK Mortgages Limited and Head of Treasury at Bank of China Limited, London Branch. RICHARD has worked as a Senior Regulatory Policy Adviser at Bank of China and as a Consultant at Grant Thornton UK LLP. Richard also has experience at The Co-operative Bank plc, where they served as the Chief of Staff to the CEO and later as the Head of Treasury and Market Risk. RICHARD has worked at the Financial Services Authority as a Prudential Risk Specialist and at CITI in various roles, including Director of Defeasance Management and Head of Funding SIV Strategies.

Richard Burrows attended Whitley Bay High School from 1983 to 1988. RICHARD later pursued a degree in Economics at The Manchester Metropolitan University from 1988 to 1991.
