John C. Reed

John C. Reed is a seasoned medical consultant and physician specializing in integrative and complementary health services. Currently acting as an independent consultant since June 2012 and serving as an investigative physician at Re:Cognition Health since January 2020, Reed focuses on cognitive disorders and Alzheimer's research. Previous roles include Associate Medical Director at Tivity Health, where Reed enhanced quality management for outpatient physical medicine services, and extensive contributions to the Osteopathic Cranial Academy Foundation as Board Secretary/Treasurer. As a Primary Care Physician with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, Reed implemented integrative pain management for veterans, while earlier roles included directing inpatient services at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Reed holds an MD from the University of Pennsylvania, an M.Div. from Harvard Divinity School, and has completed a certificate program in Energy Medicine and Health Coaching.
