Georgia Stavropoulou

Georgia Stavropoulou has a diverse work experience in marketing and communications roles. Georgia is currently the Marketing & Communications Director at RECOM TECHNOLOGIES since July 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Marketing Manager at SUNLIGHT from May 2021 to June 2022.

Prior to their current roles, Georgia held various positions at LG Electronics. From March 2018 to January 2021, they served as the Senior Marketing Manager | Corporate Communications & Business Divisions, overseeing marketing communications functions and leading multiple divisions. From June 2012 to February 2018, they were the Corporate Communications & BU Marketing Manager, responsible for consumer, trade, and marcom activities across the business.

Before LG Electronics, Georgia worked at Sony Mobile Communications as a Marketing Manager for Israel market from September 2010 to June 2011. Georgia also served as the Channel Marketing Manager for Greece & Cyprus from July 2006 to September 2010, and as the Marketing Communications Manager for Greece & Balkans from October 2001 to June 2006.

Earlier in their career, Georgia worked at Ericsson as a Marketing Communications Coordinator from January 2001 to September 2001, and as an Advertising Executive, Mobile Phones from December 1999 to December 2000. Georgia began their career at WIND Hellas, where they held roles as a Junior Product Manager from January 1998 to November 1999, and as a Market & Product Development Coordinator from February 1997 to December 1997.

Georgia Stavropoulou holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing/Marketing Management from The American College of Greece. In December 2020, they obtained certification in "Smart Thinking: Overcoming Complexity" from LinkedIn.
