Alexandra Westbrook

Alex is a Research Scientist at Recombia. She holds a bachelor's degree from MIT in Chemical-Biological Engineering and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Cornell. At Cornell, she studied synthetic RNA switches and gene expression networks. Recently, she was a postdoctoral fellow at UCSF studying synthetic network motifs in yeast using de novo-designed proteins.
