Richard Makara

Richard Makara has a diverse work experience, starting in 2012 as a Deputy Shift Manager at Cleopatra Internet Cafe. In 2014, they worked as a Sales Assistant at EGN Suomi - Executives' Global Network Finland. In 2015, they joined Catchbox as a Marketing Specialist and also became a Board Member and Graphical Design at Aalto Entrepreneurship Society.

From 2017 to 2020, Richard worked at Smartly.io, first as a Growth Marketing Engineer and later as the EMEA Marketing Lead. Richard was responsible for planning and executing regional marketing activities and organizing conferences worldwide.

In 2020, Richard joined Paddle as a Principal Growth Engineer, specializing in growth engineering and building scalable tech stacks. Richard also worked on Salesforce integration.

In 2021, Richard became a Growth Advisor at Mobal, where they provided guidance in business growth.

In 2022, Richard co-founded reconfigured, where they serve as the CEO. The company focuses on making data usable and accessible for companies. Richard is also a Member at RevGenius and RevOps Co-op, both founded in 2022.

Richard Makara completed their high school education at Olari High School from 2006 to 2009. After that, they attended Heriot-Watt University from 2010 to 2014, where they earned a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Management with Marketing.
