Dan Prochazka

Head of Product at Reconstruct

Dan Prochazka has over 25 years of experience in product management. Dan began their career in 1994 as a Product Manager at MetaCreations. In 1996, they moved to Fractal Design as a Product Manager, where they wrote the feature specification, product plan and launch plan for a 3D character design tool. In 1997, they became the Director of Product Management at Digieffects, where they were responsible for all product management tasks, including scheduling software releases, defining product, determining future features, price and target markets. In 2000, they joined Autodesk as a Product Manager for all shipping products in the Discreet Animation Group. In 2007, they moved to FlashFoto, Inc. as the VP Product Management / VP Engineering, where they were responsible for all aspects of market research, product and market positioning, customer definition and stories, web site design and development, go to market strategy and release cycle. In 2011, they joined 32k Studios, LLC as a Sr. Product Manager, where they built gamification software for Non-profit fundraising and designed and managed internal and customer facing software solutions. In 2014, they became the Director of Product Management at Matterport. In 2018, they moved to Unity Technologies as a Sr Product Manager. Dan is currently employed at Reconstruct Inc as a Sr Product Manager.

Dan Prochazka attended San Jose State University from 1989 to 1991. Dan also obtained a PMC Level II certification from the Pragmatic Institute in March 2021.
