David Teutsch serves as the Wiener Professor Emeritus at Reconstructing Judaism since 2017, following a distinguished tenure at the Reconstructionist Rabbinical College where David held the positions of Wiener Professor of Contemporary Jewish Civilization, Director of the Levin-Lieber Program in Jewish Ethics, and President from June 1993 to 2017. David's academic journey includes a PhD in Social Systems/Organizational Ethics from The Wharton School (1986-1991), a Master of Arts and Master of Hebrew Letters in Rabbinics from Hebrew Union College (1972-1977), and a Bachelor of Arts in Jewish Studies from Harvard University (1968-1972).
